Vote Early Oct. 24 - Nov. 4, Election Day is November 8

Dear Dallas County Citizens,

I appreciate that you have taken an interest in my campaign. I am the Democratic Nominee for 162nd Civil District Court, which has jurisdiction in Dallas County. I bring broad civil experience to this campaign and a strong track record of community service.

I have practiced civl law for more than 15 years, both as a partner in larger law firms and as a solo practicioner. In the last four years, I started my own law firm, focusing on civil law and labor and employment law. I spent time supporting a legal foundation that I began with others that raises scholarship funds for young law students. I spent time with my family, church and community. I also remained active in the local Democratic Party.

I regularly appear before the Dallas County civil courts in employment and commercial cases. I am also frequently appointed by the civil district and county court judges to mediate cases in their courts. I am also Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law. During the 2012 campaign, I was vetted and endorsed as qualified by the Committee for a Qualified Judiciary and I was endorsed by the Dallas Morning News.

I am passionate about the law and our justice system. My experience has also been recognized by fellow attorneys. In 2014 and 2016, I was recognized by D Magazine as a “Best Lawyer” in Dallas. I have also been recognized as a “Rising Star” and “SuperLawyer” in Texas every year since 2005.

I am committed to the law and to our community, and I humbly ask for your support and your vote. This is an important court, and the justice system is fundamental to American democracy. I will be a hard-working, fair-minded jurist and approach my public service with the diligence and seriousness it demands.
